sentimenTrader presents unique breadth charts for several broad market sectors. These breadth charts give you an in-depth look at the internals of leading industry groups. We have chosen to use the Select SPDR industry groups because each of them encompasses at least 30 individual equities, and each can be tracked via an exchange-traded fund. Therefore, if we spot an opportunity in a given sector, we can take advantage of it by trading either the ETF or the component stocks. The sector charts contain several panes, and two charts are presented for each sector, one short-term and one longer-term. Below is an example of each chart for the Amex Gold Bugs Index.
