Big, quick pullback then strong rally

Stocks suffered a quick, sharp fell then very hard rebound.

Looking at times when the S&P 500 suffered its largest, quickest pullbacks from a high, it tended to rebound over the medium-term.

It also tended to rally after enjoying large rebounds from at least 6-month lows.
