Money Managers Short The Most Gold In A Decade

The CFTC just released the latest Commitments of Traders report. Among the more interesting developments, it shows that money managers are now net short nearly 15,000 contracts of gold.

The only other time since at least 2006 that they were short was in late July, right before gold popped by +5%. Short-covering has become a real possibility in gold and the miners.
